Parenting Classes

Classes offered in 10-week series in the fall and spring, co-led by a clinician and Family Partner. There are separate groups for children up to age twelve and another for teenagers. These parenting classes are offered in both Spanish and English. Family Partners provide outreach in the community and are an essential bridge to parents dealing with the challenges of raising a family.

There is also an ongoing year round parenting class provided by the Psychologist in the Latino Family Health Track and an intern for those who can benefit from regular ongoing support throughout the year.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services (MHSUS) changed its name to Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS).  As such, all references in existing departmental policies and procedures to MHSUS can be understood to reference BHRS as well.
